Boston is in Lockdown After Bomber Escapes Police

Police in Boston converged on a sleepy neighbourhood on the outskirts of town where reports came in of explosives being detonated after a police officer was gunner down at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge.

Boston SWAT and law enforcement are on the streets looking for one of the suspects behind this weeks bombings. One suspect was already shot dead at the scene while the other one escaped and is on the run.

Police have urged people to stay indoors and to lock their doors as the suspect is armed with fire arms and explosives.
